Beledweyne,(insidesomalia.org)-After the government administration appointed for Hiran region fled from the region fearing the Islamic courts union fighters those seized several times the provincial capital of Hiran region Beledweyne town central Somalia, Somali government has announced Wednesday that Hiran regional administration was entirely replaced into a new administration-spokesman said.
The government has stripped the commissioner of Hiran region Yusuf Dabaged’s post and was substituted into Mohamed Ahmed Mohamed.
The deputy commissioner was also appointed for Saleban Ahmed Hilowle the commissioner of Beledweyne town was also chosen Salah Mumin Muse.
The mayor of the town was appointed for Adan Abdi Isse known as “Garase” also the commander-in-chief of the region’s troops was appointed for Major Ahmed Elmi Guto.
The administrational replacement diktat signed by Somali prime minister Nor Hassan Husein”Adde” was read for the reporters the spokesman of Somali Government Abdi Haji Gobdon.
The resignation order comes as no running administration in Hiran region following the entire troops/officials have jointly fled from the region after Islamic courts fighters have seized the town numerous times.
Moreover Islamic fighters are so far patrolling in Beledweyne town while some reports say that hundreds of Somali-Ethiopian troops escorted by the commissioner of Hiran region Yusuf Dabaged allegedly heading to the town to regain the control of the town from the Islamic courts.
No comments could be available from the stripped-post Hiran Commissioner Yusuf Dabaged on the resignation of his administration by Somali transitional government.
Somalia's interim government, which is largely dependent on foreign military and financial backing for its survival, has been bogged down in a bloody insurgency in the national capital Mogadishu since the beginning of 2007.
In recent months, Islamists have expanded their guerrilla attacks into other regions and have captured several towns, frustrating an already beleaguered government.
